God is like a potter who masterfully molds and shapes us into a fitting vessel for his glory.

Muddy Clay to a Masterpiece

Before you become a marvelously finished piece of pottery, you are merely a mass of muddy clay. Not very pretty. Not very useful. But in the hands of God, you become a masterpiece.

God has a vision of what you and He should look like together. Like clay, you have the potential to become the vessel that will contain all that with which God wants to fill you. Clay takes some work to get to that point. But God does not shy away from working on you. 

From the beginning of your life, God shapes you in order to attain the vision in His mind. He centers you and opens you up. You might have a mind to be shaped a different way, but God will continue to work His will for you until you become His vision. God is working with you throughout your whole life. He has so much of Himself that He wants you to contain.
